Do you travel for weddings or engagements?
YES! Just because you’re not getting married in Boise doesn’t mean I can’t photograph your wedding. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph is places like Costa Rica, Mexico, Hawaii, Aruba, Canada and throughout the United States. I’m always up for another adventure so let’s hear where you want to get married! Do I hear Bali anyone?
How does the pricing work?
Every wedding and bride and groom are so different, creating different needs for photography coverage. I believe that a couple should only pay for exactly what they want in their wedding package. For this reason, I use and love A La Carte pricing. Each wedding starts with 7 hours, me as the photographer, and the high resolution files. Where you take it from there is 100% up to you.
Should we do an engagement session?
I love doing engagement sessions! For one, we’re able to capture some beautiful images prior to your wedding. But it also gives us the opportunity to work together before the wedding day, making it just that much more comfortable and easy when it comes to your big day.
Where is home?
I am based out of Boise Idaho, but grew up in New Hampshire and the Virgin Islands (St. Thomas).
How do we book you?
The booking process is simple and easy. I require an online signed contract, as well as $1,000 deposit. Those two things secure your date for you.
How much photography coverage time would you recommend for our wedding?
Most brides find that 8-10 hours of coverage are perfect for covering their wedding day without being rushed.
Should we do a first look?
I love first looks. A first look is when a bride and groom decide to see each other prior to the wedding ceremony. It can create incredible moments to photograph and also allows time to do photos of family, bridal party, and the bride and groom all prior to the ceremony. About 80% of the weddings I’ve photographed have done first looks.
How many photos will we receive?
I typically deliver 60-80 images per hour of photography coverage. So for an 8 hour wedding, I would usually deliver between 500-700 images.
What kind of cameras do you shoot with?
I photograph with professional Canon cameras matched with Canon’s top of the line lenses.
How long will it take for me to get my photos?
During peak wedding season (June-September), delivery typically takes 5-6 weeks. Less time for out of peak season.
What can I do with my photos?
You receive full copyright release of your full resolution images. Meaning, you can print your images, copy them, or send them to friends and family etc.
How do we receive our images?
With more and more computers not offering CD/DVD drives, I have moved to online gallery delivery. 5-6 weeks after your wedding I will upload all your full resolution files onto your online gallery. From this gallery you can print photos and have them shipped directly to you, share your photos to facebook/twitter etc, select favorites, or download full resolution files onto your computer for safe keeping. This gallery can be accessed from anywhere in the world including your mobile device.
